Jayan is a Company Secretary in Practice and has a Bachelor of Law. He is one of the Founding Partners of M/s. SVJS & Associates, a firm of Company Secretaries that won the first National Excellence Award from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Jayan has almost 2 decades of experience in company law procedures and compliance, governance, NGO management, Mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, mediation and arbitration.

Jayan holds various positions in organizations dealing with Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR) such as the Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation, Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation. He is also an MSc in Yoga.
